Busy Hands 4 All

                Busy Hands 4 All

God used years of monthly volunteering projects with our small group and a deep desire to use our time and talents to help others to lay the ground work for more. The start of growth began after a 2014 "Go Serve" project at Morning Star Church. We volunteered together on a one-day project, sewing infant burial buntings to donate locally. A common desire to serve drew more together and monthly meetings began in our basement. Some nights up to 20 in the basement and more upstairs.  Eventually we needed a name, Busy Hands 4 All!

Our goal is to connect anyone wishing to serve others with a project that they can do. Through this vision we are able to be come together and all take part in creating items for others.  And we are flexible and willing to take on new projects as the need arise.

Our project list has developed over the years, as well as the list of recipients. Thank you to all who have helped in the past and have the desire to continue. I'm honored to know and serve with so many wonderful people.

Just a few notes about this coming 2023
  • Our primary local focus this year will be developing sewing skills with our "Sew One; Share One" projects. No sewing experience is required.
  • The 2023 program is based on a repeat of three meetings. Meeting 1: Learn a new project/sewing skill with your own fabric and keep it! Meeting 2: Repeat the project with our fabric and donate it! Meeting 3: Busy Hands 4 All regular projects i.e. burp cloths, bibs, change pads, bears, quilt tops,...
  • We look forward to all the mornings of sewing, talking, laughing and sharing. As a reminder, our meetings are Thursday mornings at 9:30 am until whenever (usually noonish).
  • Please check your email for meeting updates meetings as sometimes life issues get in the way. RSVPs are required, so some planning can be done.
  • We meet at Waypoint Church.

Sew with Us
We have bi-monthly Sew Days on Thursday mornings from 9:30 am to noon. Please watch for email updates and RSVP if you will be coming. Life sometimes throws a curveball, and a sewing day may need to be cancelled.
